A way to make a reflective floor

Reflecting light into your enemys' eyes.

Hi everybody. I assume you have read Weltmeister's tutorial on making reflective floors. In his tutorial, he states that it is impossible to make a reflective floor using water for multiplayer. I am here to tell you that this is possible. First, make a normal water surface as you would like. If you are using it to make a reflective floor, make it one unit thick. This step is the most crucial bit. To make reflective water, you have to add an envcubemap entity at least 16 units above your water surface. Go into the envcubemap properties and go to the Brush Faces property. Press the 'pick' button and select the face of the water with the dropper. Compile and play ingame. You have reflective water!!!

It works with all clear water. Any murky water it does not.

At no point does he say it isn't possible, only that it is costly to render.
