Problems Include the "Left Handed Weapons" and "Wrongly animated weapons". UPDATE 3
IMPORTANT 1ST YOU MUST HAVE BACKED UP UR ORIGINAL CS FILES, OTHERWISE YOU ARE STUCK.
FIX NO. 1: PROPER SKIN REPLACEMENT
DELETE YOUR LAST weapon's custom skin. [That means any skins of this weapon that are before the weapon skin you are using now.]
ALL FILES that are linked to the weapon MUST BE CLEARED, AND EMPTY. [That means the scripts, sound, models, materials folder must have their contents empty.]
Take all the default weapon's files from your "Backup" files and place them back to the "cstrike" folder [The ones where you put all your custom skins.] Now the weapon will be the default version.
Install your skin again. Now it will no longer have any problems. This method is also useful to fix the "No sounds" glitch.
Say for example I downloaded a MP5SD Skin. It has a "No Sounds" Problem. But this isn't the 1st skin I've downloaded for the MP5 Slot. The previous one that I've used is a MP5 Tactical Skin. But I did not delete the previous files, I just replaced them with the MP5SD Skin.
Now take note that different skins have different contents, like some may have scripts folder, some use their own materials folder.
[Like eg: Materials\Models\Weapons\vmodels or wmodels\"MP5SD" <--NOT wmp5navy or vmp5navy.]
By just replacing old skin with new ones WITHOUT DELETING THE PREVIOUS ONES, it will cause all sorts of problems [Like Weapons are Left Handed, No Sounds, Single Shot, etc.]
FIX NO. 2: LEFT-HANDED WEAPONS FIX [Works only if you have the "weapon_[weaponname]" script.]
How to fix the "Left-Handed" bug. [If you are right handed in the game]
Go to your "scripts" folder in your "cstrike" folder.
Locate and open the weapon's "weapon[weapon]" script. [Eg. if your TMP has the problem, open the "weapontmp" Text Document file.]
Locate the line "BuiltRightHanded" "[number]" and change it to the opposite numer. [Eg. if it's 1, change it to 0.]
Test in-game to make sure it works. If problem still exists, then delete all of your previous skin's file and try again.
FIX NO. 3: WRONG WEAPON ANIMATIONS FIX {FOR W_VIEW ONLY!} [Works only if you have the "weapon_[weaponname]" script.]
How to fix the "Wrong World View Animation" bug. [like the Galil weapon being held in AUG form in World View.]
Go to your "scripts" folder in your "cstrike" folder.
Locate and open the weapon's "weapon[weapon]" script. [Eg. if your TMP has the problem, open the "weapontmp" Text Document file.]
Locate the line "PlayerAnimationExtension" "[weapon]" and change it to a suitable weapon animation. [Eg. if your M4A1 has a AUG styled animation in World View, then change it "m4"
Test in-game to make sure it works. If problem still exists, then delete all of your previous skin's file and try again.
Note that changing the weapon's "PlayerAnimationExtension" will change it's reload animations too.
*This Fix is useful to use for when you downloaded a skin that does not have the right w_view animation. [Like you've downloaded a M16 FAMAS skin and you can adjust from "PlayerAnimationExtension" "famas" to "PlayerAnimationExtension" "m4". Works great for many weapons skins that have different reload points, example a PDR in a P90 slot: Just modify it from "p90" to "aug" or whatever animations that you want it to have.]
**Also, the AWP animations are the only sniper animations that does the boltpull after a shot. So, if you have a M82 skin for the AWP slot, it will look better animated to change it to the Scout sniper animations, since it does not do a boltpull.
FIX NO. 4: SINGLE SHOT WEAPONS FIX [Works only if you have the "weapon_[weaponname]" script.]
How to fix the "Single Shot" bug. [as in the weapon fires one shot even if you hold down fire button.]
Go to your "scripts" folder in your "cstrike" folder.
Locate and open the weapon's "weapon[weapon]" script. [Eg. if your SG550 has the problem, open the "weaponsg550" Text Document file.]
Locate the line "FullAuto" "[number]" and change it to the opposite number. [Eg. if it's 1, change it to 0.]
Test in-game to make sure it works. If problem still exists, then delete all of your previous skin's file and try again.
*Changing any default single shot weapons to full auto will make them fire like other full auto weapons in the game, like the AWP, the Scout and all pistols. [Might be cool to try out.]
