Gamepad for CSS?

By justin 7 years ago

I recently aquired an xbox 360 and was wondering if the corded 360 controller can be used while playing CSS, instead of the keyboard. I know the 360 controller is compatable with some games, but curious if CSS is included. Anyone tried it before?

Yes, you can plug the 360 controller into a USB port to use a conputer gamepad, but you cannot configure the joysticks or triggers to make CSS easy/any fun to play.

Maestro. What about making a custom script? Without the triggers.

You can also buy the Xbox 360 controller that works with Windows.. Idk if its just a repackaged controller with software or what but you can google it and find out. Maybe theres downloads that will work with the original controller.

HEY! Go download Controller mk. Itll help you configure your joystick I use my normal xbox controller to play games on the pc and it works fine. You just have a slower reaction time than ppl with mice and keyboards.

I have a tool that allows you to bind anything to anything. like say there is a key named "joy2" you can bind it to a "letter" or even a mouse movement (-x,x,y.-y...etc) But it works with the entire computer not just one game.
