VTF Saving

Hello there! I have been skinning for many years and only recently decided that I would start skinning for CSS. I have spent some time and effort on my latest skin that I would'nt want to be dissapointed. Anyway I'm having troubles saving the VTF file, whenever I save it and add it to the game it comes up as a black shiny looking figure. Can anyone tell me how to save it, or what I'm doing wrong? It would be a big help.

    Make sure you have the folders correct and so on, and save the vtf normally,.. i cant say i know whats happened there :/

    Is there a ref and the skin you are doing is white or black. cuase i now the problem then:)
