Try a different decompiler; in general, if it doesn't work with one decompiler, it will with the other.

Have you checked for output yet? It could be there's something happening even though it crashes.

Hmm, Is the exe file in the correct bin folder? Try EP1 if OB does not work. What model in CSS or ?, Maybe it's too complex. Sometimes a second try works.

Depending on version of MdlDecompiler and Operating System and Java and Steam update...I think has some kinda influence on running.

Execution file should be in: sourcesdk\bin\ep1\mdldecompiler.exe if MDLDecompiler 0.5 is used.

There are four bin directories, but i think only ep1 and orangebox will work depending on version.

Also uncheck boxes. Uncheck Steam box. Version should work without Steam.

I'm interested in what CSS model you're trying to decomp, too. I tried to decomp and got a crash. I retried again and it worked. First time wrote little information and second time finished.

Create folder for models to decomp and sub folders for models decomped.
