Hey there. As the title suggests, I'm looking for people to make some new maps for a CSS mod. In essence, it's a recreation of OMGPOP's "Draw my Thing", or "Draw Something" for mobile... But on CSS.

So if you're not familiar with Draw My Thing, it's simply pictionary. One person draws a picture, and the other players must guess what they're drawing. Winners get certain amount of points, and then a new person is chosen to draw. Rinse and repeat for shits and giggles. To draw, it's quite simple. Look where you want to draw, hold your attack button (left click), and look around. At the beginning of each round, if you were chosen to be the drawer, it will tell you the word you must draw in chat, and in the hint at the bottom center of your screen. If you are a guesser, simply type your guess in chat. That's it.

That should give you a nice idea of what happens on in the server...Besides someone drawing the occasional penis, and getting banned lol.

So, now some info on what's expected for maps. It must have some form of screen for the person to draw on (for example, people have created movie theatre maps, drive ins, giant billboards, rats styled maps, etc) In some way the player needs a surface to draw on. What that surface is, is completely up to you. There are no restrictions on it really, besides preferably having a solid color to make drawing the picture easier.

There are a few option entities you can add to your map which will (may) help you out. None of them are required. All entity types must be "infoteleportdestination".

First, one entity named "black". In the screenshots above you'll notice that the pen color that people use is white by default. Having this entity will change the default pen color to black, in case you wanted a white screen, or a lighter shade of some sort.

Next, if you want to use this one, you must have both of the following entities. One named "teleportguesser", and one named "teleportdrawer". When a new drawer is chosen, that drawer will be teleported to "teleportdrawer", and everyone else will be teleported to "teleportguesser". This way, you can teleport the drawer to a special location (for example, in a movie theatre, people teleported the drawer to where the projector room would be, so they can have a perfect view of the screen for easy drawing).

Again, all the optional entity types MUST be "infoteleportdestination". They will be ignored otherwise.

Now, before you try making any maps, I highly suggest you try out the mod and see first hand how it works, so you can get a gist of how it runs, how big of a screen size to make, things like that. You should also bring a friend if the server is empty, since you need a second player to play, even if you don't plan on staying. (Though if you come alone, it will let you draw freely, but that's not as fun.)
