I built a map and all the spawns not working :( Help?

and i have a question: how to i make different song every round?

    it since i tryed to run the map... it says failed spawn in some number area (sorry for bad english XD)

    Make sure your spawns aren't stuck in a brush. Place them in the air, 8 units or so should be enough.

    And check your console for errors.

    those are the errors. i tryed to do what u said and it didnt work. maybe the spawn can be in eachother? (i can see thier hands touch... or maybe the knife?

    If the player spawns touch that might cause them to be invalid. Its easy to test all this without having to create a thread. Simply delete (or hide) all the spawns you have at the moment and then add them again, one at a time per team T/CT, whatever.

    As a general rule you should always try to spread spawns out as much as you can so that faster buyers dont get blocked by slower ones... if you can't do this then you should really rethink your spawn design.

    You can use map_showspawnpoints in console to view the spawn points in-game. Your spawn points should not be touching anything solid else they will be invalid and will show up red instead of green with the previous command. You should place them a few units above the floor and a few units away from each other.

    For a random songs you need:

    An ambient-generic entity for each different song you want to be able to play, each one named, eg song01, song02 etc.

    A logic case entity. In the "Class info" tab you must put a name for the logic-case (eg song-chooser). For the values Case01, Case02 you need to put ascending numbers starting at 1 in Case01, 2 in Case02 etc until you have the same number of cases activated as you have songs you want to choose from. For example if, you have 8 songs your logic case will look like this:

    Once you have done that goto the outputs tab of the logic-case and ADD

    My output named -> OnCase01; Target entities named -> Song01; Via this input -> Playsound

    then ADD

    My output named -> OnCase02; Target entities named -> Song02; Via this input -> Playsound

    Repeat this until you have an output for each Case/song.

    Finally add a logic-auto with an output:

    My named output -> OnMapSpawn; Target entities named -> song-chooser; Via this input -> PickRandom

    And thats it.

    If you have more than 16 songs you simply need to stack your logic-case entities, 3 logic-case entities, the first logic-case choosing between the second or third logic-case, which each choose between 16 songs, would give you 32 random possibilites etc.
