Help setting up my first server please

Hi, I am a server newb, sorry. The only experience I have was owning a vps for botting :/...but anyway I just bought a server i have TCAdmin login details and an ip address but i can't find my server when looking for it, well by adding the ip to favorites. I am guessing that i need to start it or something? But anyway TCAdmin tells me its running, and i have no idea what to do any help would be appreciated.

    Have you tried contacting the server hosts support? That would probably yield the best results. I'm assuming you have tried redrafting your server; and if you can add it through favorites, are you absolutely sure that it isn't showing up?
