'bindtoggle' doesn't really work, but what's wrong with the use of alias?

Togglecommands with alias are something like this:

    alias something1 "command 0,alias toggle something2"
    alias something2 "command 1,alias toggle something1"
    alias toggle something1
    bind toggle [key]

    YES! do this:

    bind <key> "incrementvar <yourcommand> 0 1 1"

Like if you was gonna use it to turn godmode on/off (assuming you use cheats):

    bind F8 "incrementvar god 0 1 1"

Each time we press F8 it will switch between godmode 1, and godmode 0. Enjoy! ;)
