By gamer6996 1 year ago

As you can see I had download the Source SDK SP3 . There is somethings that's very confusing . This Source SDK can run the HL2 but it can't run the CS Source when I select Counter Strike-Source and use the Hammer Editor this Source SDK warns me that : The Configuration Information for the game you're trying to edit is invalid or missing ??? Can you guys help me a little about this ? Thank you very much And Sorry about my bad English .

May be this CS source can have different SDK or it may have some settings. You just check it once again.

He does mention he wants it for Counter-Strike: source, not Team Fortress 2.

Interestingly enough, though, both are on the exact same engine: "MP".

Source SDK is free, you can add any game to it, he mentions Source SDK SP3 (cracked one).

That varies from person to person, I prefer Blender, but there's also Maya, 3DS Max, and Autodesk Modtool to consider.

Blender has the advantage of being free, but I know there are alot of people who don't like the blender interface. Autodesk have an education programme that you can sign up for and lets you use 3dsMax, Maya, mudbox and other software... But you must only use the software for learning, and not for commercial projects. I use 3dsMax and a great plugin called WallWorm Model Tools... If you use 3ds, I suggest you check it out.
