how to install material skins

what program do u use to install skins

i tried puting them in materials folder but its like silencer body and stuff so how to put them together as a skin ?

    It's quite simple, don't fuck with the underlying directory structure, read the readme, follow a tutorial on this site, and put materials in the materials folder.

    Chances are the skin you've taken has choices, in which case you probably should read the readme.

    There's nothing to be scared of, it's not going to eat you or anything; worst case scenario is that you don't override everything and the models start acting up, in which case you simply have to delete all associated files and try again.

    override?, i installedd skin but it was black and pink , i did everything right
