Compressing Cs:source into .vpk

    Yes that's true but you're asking here for a complete redesign of the game into a custom mod simply for the purpose of a change in file distribution system the effects of which may or may not be better.

    It's just not viable.

    It's like saying put CS:S on the Cry Engine. Yes it would improve it but it would take a lot of work for little resultant benefit.

    I have no idea what that last sentence meant but if you're looking for a skin without the sides taken off just download a new skin.

    But yes I'm sure. It's a different system. Even if you got it switched you couldn't play with others online.
