Half Life Model Viewer Problem

Ok, so i have recently downloaded hlmv 1.25 and every single time i try to load a .mdl file to see my weapons it crashes. So any ideas or other posts/topics that could help me please comment.

    Why not just use the version that comes with the Source SDK?

    As far as I'm aware, it's the only one that works with Source models the best right now.

    I'm assuming you've downloaded JHLMV, which is normally used for GoldSrc games, also hasn't been updated forever.

    Anyways, if you don't know about it. Steam > Tools > SourceSDK

    Install that, run it and select the correct engine and run HL Model Viewer from the menu.

    I kinda miss mapping...
