Port Forwarding for srcds

Just help for port forwarding for srcds

Well i have had a srcds server for a while now and its on my family computer and i have a wireless router hooked up but its no interfering with srcds. (Modem-D link-computer D-link Router) and well now i transfered the server to my new computer in my room and its using the wireless internet right, and its blocking the srcds so how do u port forward for srcds?

    Posted by Sneeza You know how to forward ports right? If not: PortForward.com. Follow the instructions relating to your router's model. After you have sorted it all out, then you need to forward the following:
    • TCP ports 27020-27039
    • UDP port 1200
    • UDP ports 27000-27015
    • TCP port 27015
    Should do it.

    But what should the names be?

    Did you remember to change the IP address of which computer your forwarding to ? it may still be forwarding to your old PC, in that case it wont work on your new one.

    well i didn't port forward my family's comp like i said my set up is Modem to dlink (switch) to computer then from the dlink there is a ethernet cord going to my router so the router is not directally connected to the computer
