Breakfloor boxes leak?

By ivar 5 years ago

Hello all, This is really weird.

I put about 50 breakable boxes in my map, for the maptype breakfloor, and then hammer gives the well-known error:

http://img147.imageshack.us/my.php?image=errorrn2.jpg

Mostly, this is because of leaks. However, if I delete the breakable boxes, the error is gone. And the map is ruined of course.

Does someone know how to prevent this from happening?

Thanks, Ivar

It's something like: Cannot find the file specified. But if you know the error, it's easy to recognise.

Post the compile log and place it in the thread topic, do not post it as 3-4 posts, just edit the thread to add it in.

    So I finally got glasses..yay?

It looks like the boxes are extending outside of the map. If they are, that is the cause of the leak.

You can't tie a displacement to an entity. Move it back to world by selecting the brush and clicking the to world button on the right side of hammer.

    What is a displacement?
