Hdr/Ldr Problem

Problem compiling with HDR

For some strange reason, when I compile my map it is EXTREMELY dark, when mathdrenable 1 is on, when I change it to "0" the map gets brighter, after building cubemaps i thought it would solve the problem, but it didn't change anything, my map is still verrrry dark (with HDR enabled)

    I'm not retarded I don't have a leak -.- I wouldn't have wasted 2 hours of my life to run a map that had a leak.

    I read through my compile log, there's nothing there, seriously I didn't just start mapping today, I have experience with a lot of problems this one just seems like a brightness problem or something wrong with my light_environment I'll post some screenshots in a minute

    Top one is what it's supposed to look like Bottom is with HDR enabled..

    Ok I can read a compile log buddy, I've been mapping for 4 years, I realize that may be the first thing to go to, but I actually thought this through, I didn't just like go "Let's go spam FPSB forums!"

    I actually tried a couple things. My compile log is clean.

    If you don't post your compile log then it is really hard for us to spot anything that could be going wrong during the compile. Even the best of us don't know everything so a collective look upon the compile log can help.

    From the screenshots it looks like you don't have much light in your map. Or perhaps your ambient light value in the light_environment is too low?

    That's it.. I didn't make any changes since last run. I just ran it and skipped it as you can see there are no major errors.

    What values do you have set for the brightness for your light_environment? Both normal, and HDR.

    HDR: -1 -1 -1 1 (default) <- I've never had a problem with this before when I compiled other maps with HDR though, that's what's really puzzling me :\

    HDR requires two cubemaps to be buildt. First you should disable HDR and build the cubemaps. After that you should build the cubemaps with "mathdrenable 1" after this you can either restart the game or type "mat_reloadallmaterials"

    BuildFacelights: 0...1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9...10 (SKIP)

    This line may have something to do with your lighting not being fantastic. Also, what brightness settings do you have your lights set at?
