Brick texture

Includes a 1024x1024 version with normal maps and a low res 512x512 version.

There are 2 textures, 1 bottom texture that tiles from side to side and 1 normal texture that tiles in every direction. You can also put the top texture above the bottom texture and it will tile seamlessly. See the first screenshot for an example.

low res: 341kb

high res+normal: 2,66 MB

2048x2048+normal: 10,6 MB

On a side note, would you guys like more separate texture releases? I have a bunch of unreleased textures but I'd rather release them separately instead of in a pack, so I can spend more attention on each individual texture.

EDIT: I have added the 2048x2048 version

Hey I've been just wondering, could you make a pack of city-textures ? Like texxture for walls, streets, shops indoors, offices indoors, sidewalk etc.

Unfortunately I don't really have a lot of spare time right now, but I'll try making some whenever I can.

I'm just gonna stop you right there, because it's not. It's a decent texture, yes, but it's far from being perfect.

First of all, there's shadows on the diffuse, which is not recommended! Those should have been removed before submitting, and even before making the normal map.

The normal map too isn't near perfect. A lot could be improved. In fact, here's some normals I made based off of the 2048x^2 diffuse map, in less than five minutes.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I don't think there's a lot of shadows on the diffuse texture, but how should I remove them? Should I use a flash to fill in the shadows?

As for the normal maps, I'm still fairly new to normal mapping so I know they're not great, which is why I included a version without them. What software did you use to make those?

It looks nice! I don't mind whether you release packs or separate textures, whichever you/everyone else prefers.

Thanks! I think I'll just release them separately, or maybe in small packs.
