Not really, as Counter strike wasn't originally a source game untill half life two came out, and sortive.. updated all the mods.

Do you mean speaking or typing? If it is typing, i only use abbrievations like OMG or WTF only when i have no time to type, cause i might die while typing. Otherwise, i would type full messages without using abbrievations. Unless I'm used to it like 'ASAP' as i always say.
