CSS Default Weapons Remixed

CSS Default Sounds heavily remixed

This pack was made on a whim, just to see what I could do with the default CSS sounds. Personally I'm pretty pleased with the results!

I took the default CSS weapon sounds, and matched the wave patterns to those of real gunshots (by using the Goldwave Volume Shape tool). The weapon sounds now "sound" more realistic as a result.

I also mixed in the default bolt sounds to all the weapons, to give them metallic sounds when firing (this is pretty discreet, most people shouldn't notice it).

As always I've included distant gunshots with the required script.

ALL SOUNDS IN THIS PACK ARE DERIVED FROM CSS SOUNDS. THERE ARE NO 3RD PARTY SOUNDS MIXED IN!

Umm, I am hearing the sounds mostly from the left speaker, the sounds are mostly coming from the left? Can you fix this and make it so the sounds are equal on both the left and right speakers please?

The sounds are meant to be like that, the left audio channel is what you hear at point blank range; the right channel is heard from afar. That's how the distant audio system works in Source.

This does not sound like the original css sounds at all.

What an amazing transformation, sounds so realistic. 10/10 and a fav.

Pros: Doppler Effect Is Really Cool. Cons: They Sound Almost Exactly The Same When Firing. But There Is A Little Difference. Improvements: None. Notes: Awesome
