Your entitled to your opinion and I would never try to persuade you otherwise. If you think it sucks, then it sucks. I just didn't think it was to horrific. Don't get me wrong, I did ding it pretty hard for lacking realism.

I don't recommend listening to custom sounds in windows media player as they can sound entirely different than it would sound in game. I say this because that links pulls the sound up in WMP (at least for me it does) and it sounds much different than when I play it in Audacity or Sony Sound Forge. I do agree that it needs more than just amplification. I didn't spend much time on it but I managed to alter the file quite a bit... http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zmzyzknmzza

    Sounds loads better :D

Posted by TrappaKeepa So what your saying is that because you can't take someone elses work and use it for your own, it's not that good? I didn't think the sound was that horrible. It's way to quiet so I can't give it a good realism rating but it's very clear. I a little boost in volume would make this a great sound.

No, what i meant was that it would be diffucult to seperate the sounds and turn them into a pack - not, that it this is a bad sound because it's hard to splice them into my own work (i don't know what gave you that preconception) to release on Fpsb. And that's not what i said, implied or intended to imply.

And btw the firing sound, is like an underpowered shotgun with an echo on it, so that's why i gave it that rating, but i forgot to mention it.

A little boost in volume? Maybe something more than that. This is what it sounds like when its been amplified to maximum without it being distorting.

Posted by dead-aim The shot and the reload are in the same file so it's hard to extract them and use them for other purposes as the echo still plays whilst the reload plays.

I'm sorry to say this, but it sounds terrible! It's too quiet, has a weird echo effect, random clicking(which I think is the reloading) and it's almost, if not completely, unusable.
