I've not done anything since I've got enough to do as it is, and besides I don't know how to compile, if you made a version you prefer, then by all means release it, reason I didn't add Fire Last or any of that is because I didn't think CSS supported it, I mean I thought you'd have to program it in.
In terms of the hand, as I mentioned, this was originally a test and I put the hands lower to test something with the recoil, but I never got to making it, and this damn Biped shit won't let Me move it, I know other approaches but I'd prefer modifying the original file.
From what I've seen, to make fire Animations look good you have to exaggerate the recoil, so that's the only reason I'd make it a bit much.
Anyway thanks for the comment, I'll keep these things in mind for My next release
Yeah I know, 2 weeks later = forever, but whatever.
After doing a bit of playing with it (adding sleeves/modelswapping for personal use), I realized something - the slide doesn't lock back far enough. Also, the grip is pretty low - move the hand up tight against the part of the grip that juts out above the hand.
Also you didn't do a shoot_empty anim, though like you said, quick anims. Just some crits if you decide to revamp it.
That said, the anims are very good - they're smooth, crisp and professional. The shoot anim has just enough kick to suggest this isn't some dinky little .22LR rounds, barely strong enough to cycle the weapon, but not be all LOL I R FIVE YEAR OLD GIRL, either. They remind me of MW1... and this is a good thing, because the weapon anims are one of MW1's strong points.
thanks man :D
I'd have to think about the porting, it would quite interesting
