    You're now using cz75_s.tga as the phongexponenttexture instead of cz75_g.tga (which should also be inverted)! Gloss = phongexponenttexture! Gloss is how "blurry" the reflections are. cz75_s.tga is the spec map, the intensity of the specular reflections / their brightness. Spec intensity goes in the normal map's alpha channel in Source (but yours is solid white when viewed in VTFEdit!).

    I love the gun on these anims, but after downloading the updated version the gun is purple in first person. Do I just need to try installing it again or what?

    I just saw the update and there are still a few things missing. The spec map (cz75_s.tga) should be masking phong and envmap (if you want to use envmap), it goes in the alpha channel of the normal map when there's a normal map being used. What is env_bumpmap? $envmaptint should be used to dim the envmap (just so it's subtle, we don't want crystal-clear mirror-like reflections). The AO map should also be used, or multiplied into both the diffuse/basetexture and spec map (saves space I guess, but keeping it separate is easy for the texture maker). I also forgot the gloss map should be inverted in this case.

    A few shots may look kinda plain, but cz75_d.tga can be swapped for cz75_d_prelit.tga.

    Yea, the VMT only has the diffuse and normal. You need to include the spec/gloss and AO if there is one. Thus why it looks so dark/plain right now.

    Texturing is not my strong suit, could you tell me the commands I should use?

    UPDATE I was able to fix the smoothing, and that helped with some texture issues as well. I'll update the page as soon as I can!
