A big disappointment to me from a user who was having a good start...

He never had a good start. All he ever did was crappy overlay jobs, abuse the ever-living hell out of the contrast and brightness settings to the point that his "re-textures" were god awful recreations of their original versions, and played with the .VMT settings to the point that every skin he included a .VMT for looked like it had either been soaking in water for a few hours or had been wrapped in highly-reflective plastics, just so he could make them look "realistic".

They look like they are put in water.You just increased their brightness and you call them"Future CT".They just look like they are put in water.As again,failed 5 minute skin-my rate like everyone else-1/10.Complete failure.

Oh yeah pablo these are much better. Assuming taking the defaults and phonging them til it looks like they've just been dunked in a swimming pool means better. WHICH IT DOESNT. these are SHITE.

we're the same. We cant make skins but we rated them professionally becoz we know whats good... if u noe what i mean

thank you Ganryu, that clarifies what i said a little more. and pablo, no i can't make anything. i'm simply an observer on this site. i've literally gone through nearly all the skins on the CSS section in the last 7 years and i've seen everything from totally amazing to utter garbage in terms of skins, animations, and presentation. i love to mod my game and i take pride on how it looks. at the rate you are making skins and the level of work you put into them pablo, i wouldn't dare put them in my game or even touch the download button. i use skins made with the best quality work by the most acclaimed creators on this site. what you make doesn't give you a good reputation in the eyes of the veteran members here. mind you i've been on this site for about a year and have watched new and old members make some pretty nice skins and animation sets. i hope that answers your question.

Incase you didn't read or notice Ganryu's post, here it is again, for it to get into your really fucking big thick skull.

You have been doing the exact same thing on every one of your skin submissions, and you have been given advice on what to do in order to actually improve each and every time. And what do you do in return? You essentially throw it back in everyone's face by continuing to submit things that take absolutely no effort (I.E., adjusting the contrast and brightness levels on a texture, copying and pasting an image over the entire texture itself, etc.) and not taking any of the advice seriously. It's appreciated that you want to make thing for others to use, but come on. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, is capable of ignoring good advice for that long unless they intentionally want to irritate the people that give it to them. I understand this isn't the "Uberl33t-Only Community", but this isn't funny anymore. Either take the advice that has been given to you, or just stop uploading to this site. You aren't showing any real signs of improvement, you just keep doing the same thing, over and over and over again. If you are really trying to improve, then actually do something that isn't the exact same thing that we've all come to expect from you.
