Because I currently learn how to make next-gen model stuff, I decided to bring some of it into CSS. So here is the outcome. Don't expect to much ^^ For those who know what I did - I'm still learning ;)
The "skin" works everywhere the model is used (HL2, the Episodes ect) just copy the materials folder in the right folder.

What does this do:
The skin adds a normalmap from the baked default barrel and it adds some phong.
