Lost Bridge

A simple Stone and Wood bridge with decorative railings.

Made this from a sketch of mine while in some waiting rooms over the last two weeks, decided to just throw it together real quick. Kinda proud about most of the brushwork on the bridge itself, the rest was added just to see it in a setting, no though given to the rest as I have no real thoughts towards a layout that isn't already applied to future projects of mine so if someone else wants to extend onto this feel free, its why this section exists.

Use it or don't, just something I did for fun in any case.

Build Time: 2 - 1/2 Hours

Download Contains both the .vmf file to edit as well as a compile bsp if you just want to look at it.

*Note, this is not optimized with func_details, if your going to use, I recommend turning the rails and the inside little trim on the sides to func_detail, don't forget to add nodraw to all faces not visible to :P

Pros: next to perfect. a sone bridge wow. this is some real quality work that this software can really give. the fact that is it staone is a very very nice touch, you realy took it to the next level by putting in displacemtns AND adding a wood frame for support. this is not a simple bridge made with 6 brushes, this is a bridge you could seriously find in the woods like that.

THe wide open in the middle is awesome, and truly professional.

Cons: if i MUST put some =( more detail? if that is possible ha! Improvements: only about the enviro u put it in, maybe a dusk/ sunset lighting, with water under it and a sun. Notes: i love you
