Note, I have recompiled this map to jbcarcerisfinal due the fact I missed a few spots. Now it's supposed to function 100%.

    Absolutely. This has nothing to do with the game mode, but rather with the level design. A carefully crafted map with small details (and good shadows from objects add to it immensely), almost invisible at first, creates a unique "feel". It's something that mappers care very little about these days. And yes, texture tiling is real obvious on this map. There are tons of decals, both shipped with Source and custom. Use them!

    Yup I know, but I actually wanted to add HDR and better lightmaps. But you really think that's necessary for a Jailbreak map?

    Hi, you should help players to find commands to activate games. (ex pool)

    You can improve a lot the optimization, it's not usual with a map like your (corridor + rooms) to not have 200-300fps permanently.
    If you speak french or love googlTrad I suggest this for you (http://hl.logout.fr/?p=optimisation)
    You can also use Propper (with hl2 engine) to transform complex architecture to prop_static (ex arch in your pool)
    The optimization is not only for people with low pc, if you want to improve this map to csGO you will not be able to compile (or wait for hours or days).

    About the gameplay, you added too much 'free' vents in cells.
    It's too easy for T to rush these vents and get free. I suggest you an auto-lock after Xseconds of the first passage.
    If you give to T the power to kill all CT at the beginning all what you built is useless because no one will play it.
    It's only concern the beginning, T must have weapons and vents in the mid and late game.

    Dear god, i'll get that fixed tonight and i'll reupload the map to jbcarcerisfinal. If you find any other bugs please tell me before I compile it :P

    And you can disable the songs with pressing on the DJ Desk.

    Pros:

    • A looooooot of GOOD game
    • Very good optimisation
    • The T can open the armory when they go out the CellRoom
    • The game are easy to use
    • Very good songs
    • I love the vent in the disco

    Cons:

    • The vent in the jail, All Ts will go to the armory
    • The texture of the 4X4 don't work, i can the the button blue and red
    • We can't stop the music in disco (or i don't look at very good)

    Improvements:

    • The map is perfect (if i don't speak about the vent which go to armory

    Notes:

    • I'm keen on your map, i hope that my server will accept your map, but i think the vent will be a problem, i know that in your server it's very important.
    • do you let me edit just the vent (or you ?) just for my server, if there is a problem with that ? You stay the creator ^^
