My first Deathrun map i hope you Enjoy

This is my First Deathrun map, its designed for every Bhop Server with Bhop Settings and/or Plugins. Thx to Tophattwaffle.com for the awesome Tutorials!

    Well, maybe you make another Version, where are less Traps than here. And you make them easier.

    I am a subscriber of Topphattwaffle and I use his tutorials very often, too, but.. ..you used them.. wow.. there is so much information in your map, same like in his tuts :)

    Well, in summary, the Map is playable.. somtimes ..and for Pros.. I Gave you the Rating 4 ~ 5.

    Still looks freakin awesome... Shushh!

    Thanks for the review :D i played the map with friends and i designed it very easy so everyone can get trough.. but! if you dont have bhop plugins enabled you are right, then.. its difficult. I made it originally for Brotcrunshers deathrun server (which has autohop on) so its may to hard for standard settings. alltough i think every deathrun map is hard for noobs and the number of the traps is normal in comparsion with other dr maps. so fazit from me is thanks for the critic but: this map has a moderate difficulty for those whohave played deathrun atleast 3-4 times and especially with bhop plugins or Bhop settings on its even a little too easy so someone ever can get trough. And your rating point realism 2/10 ?! whats so Ugly in my map ?? Q_Q I want to know :do you often play DR? ^^ so if not i can understand your rating but in my case it was like this: T´s had too few traps and my friends ever came trough (in beta) I´m soo sorry for my grammar and spelling mistakes :/ I hope you answer ^^ see ya Oh before i forget bad news for you :/ in the last version which i gonna upload tomorrow are even more traps/changed traps to STOP the Cts from ging trough to fast ... achso und du kannst auch deutsch schreiben xD

    Seems as though you fixed the map ... :) ... so I guess I will re-examine the map.

    Pros:

    • Less lag than the previous version.
    • Various creative traps, very original.
    • The layout of the map is original as well, I don't think I have seen anything where the T's path criss-crosses through the CT's. This made you put more teleporters, but was worth it.
    • I like how the T's have to choice to set their own speed.
    • A few different "endings" for the CT's.
    • The music was a nice touch.
    • Nice detail around the map, I really love the use of the seagulls that fly around the map.
    • Various secrets.
    • I still love the cameras that you see when you join, good work.
    • I like the AFK killer, to improve gameplay.
    • Really started to love the characters when they heal you and cheer you on. I thought that was a really good touch.

    Cons:

    • Still some lag but MUCH better. I think the water may be causing it, if I go to a room without water, I'm fine, go to the main area, lag.
    • The displacements under the breaking traps are cool, yet too extreme.
    • Not that many round endings.
    • In BHop, you get momentarily stuck to the ground when you are teleported.
    • Songs adruptly end ... for no reason.

    Improvements:

    • Good work on improving the gameplay, but there is still some lag, maybe try some more stuff?
    • Tone down the "killer" displacements, or put spikes or something.
    • Add more "endings"?

    Notes:

    • I am not sure about the various HL2 characters, they look cool but don't really "fit in", but are still quite awesome.
    • The map is much better than the last version, I CAN ACTUALLY PLAY IT! Other than that, I really liked it, the style was simple, modern, bright. The style complimented the layout of the map and everything you added, good work.
    • ... took me a good 5 minutes to get close to beating BHop, I must suck. lol.

    Rating:

    • Like I said, much better, so I'll rate the map again, and give it a 8.11/10. Good work.

    Thanks a looot for good review.. -The Glass texture is Removed (now CombineGlass) -110 mb smaller -a fps gain of ca. 20 Fps (in the most parts of the map) -gas effet is not making the lag its bad brushwork but im Working on ;) -its not fully compiled so its way more laggy than it should Thanks again for the awesome review maybe you can check the final_fix version Later (it will be written in the title) Sorry for the laggs but i promise that will be ficxed in about 2-3 days, its my first map since 2 years, and so at the start my Brushwork was bad but i have done alot with hints,skips, areaportals and Occluders.. the lagg will be gone and then ... Please review againwould be extreeem cool :D

    but at spawn are only 3 chat messages o: then the AFK Killer and when you have entered an ending ... maybe there was something wrong but is this really too much ?

I will reduce the Filesize ! (Done -110 MB) And try to get more FPS ! (Halfway Done +20 FPS) I will keep adding Stuff and Features and throw everything out in Final_Fix Version. Please Report all Bugs and Errors to me.
