There is a lot of games and things to do but the looks aren't very nice. If you find a tutorial of 'Cubemaps' I think it would really help make this map look better.
I was aiming towards a more of a basic structure of the map, not complex/realistic design. I know the textures are a bit sloppy but it isn't much of a problem.
I don't know what is nice for you but to remind you again this map isnt suppose to be that realistic, its more for fun pb gaming, not a walkthrough map.
I will release a ba_jail_sand_final with improvements and fixes for various glitches.

Your fps problem is due to a lack of optimization. When you're in the main cell area, the whole level is actually being compiled for the player. Another instance which demonstrates this, is that when you're in the armory, the whole cell area and parts of outside are being compiled. Look into optimization, specifically area portals. Also, the windows in the cell area would all need func_areaportalwindows.
Just so you know for future use, if you want to see exactly what is being compiled for a player, turn on sv_cheats, and use mat_wireframe 3. Switch between mat_wireframe 0 and mat_wireframe 3 to test out areas for FPS and in turn find the problem.

Additionally, look into displacement work, and try to make sure that your texturing is looking as nice and as believable as possible. The S4S area looks out of place with the metal texture. I'd advise using looks of wood designs and sand-concrete to stick to the desert theme. Contact me if you need more help.
