Before you read any further, this map REQUIRES a RESPAWN PLUGIN. The one I have on my server can be found HERE (RESPAWN SCRIPT)

If using Sourcemod, I suggest you install this map config plugin @ HERE (MAP CONFIGP PLUGIN)

Add this to your server.cfg

      • smarenable 0

        Create a map config called cpletsplaystf2v1.cfg and within have:

      • smarenable 1
      • arrespawndelay 5
      • arrespawnmsgs 0
      • ardissolveragdolls 1

Finally after endless hours of trying to get this map finished, im glad to announce the release of cpletsplaytf2v1. This is a control point map (like the ones in tf2) where one team is attacking while the other defends. The attacking team must cap all 3 points in a timelimit, while the defenders must hold them off until the timer hits 0.

Please do not rename the map as it will mess up the custom textures. Its cp_ prefix just in case more of these maps start appearing. But this will still be on minigames servers.

About The Map
  • Attacking/ Defending team swapper every round.
  • Seven classes to choose from.
  • 3 Control points (A, B and C).
  • Numerous teleport exit locations for engineer to set up.
  • Count down timer in skybox and at spawn.
  • Health Kits around the map.
  • Ammo Kits around the map.
  • Controllable teleport locations for engineer.
  • 4 minute round timer.
  • 4 additional minutes added to the clock once a point has been fully capped.
  • 60 second capping timer on each point.
  • 3D Skybox.
  • Custom radar map overview.
  • Tf2 like weapon strip on round win/lose.
  • And much more...

    This map requires team work and co-operation, when we was beta testing on a 30-40 slot server the map was as balanced as it probably will get.     I did install this on my MG server, it is an excellent map and we enjoy it very much.

    The people in my server did find a bug in it where you could join the spectate team after choosing a class and give people guns by pressing 'g' when dead. This isn't really a big issue because you can tell who's doing this by who is in spectate, but this should be fixed.

    Great map otherwise, 10/10.

    The concept and the map design is really nice but some of the classes are overpowered.

    Medic: should be restrict to one or two medics like the engineer because if everyone goes with medic, it's impossible to win because they are always regenerating health. The medic's health should be 150 and not 175 if this is supposed to be TF2 style. The regen should be with an interval of six in six seconds. In TF2 is more or less that time.

    Spy: He's capable of catching fallen weapons and that is really bad because they can have a P90 or a Machine gun wich leaves them overpowered.(Don't know if it's possible to restrict the primary weapon of the spy only) And his health should be 125 not 175

    Scout: Should have an USP instead of the glock. The USP is more like the TF2 pistol.

    If you could fix these issues the gameplay would be more balanced.

    No unfortunatly scout does not have double jump =/.

    We did have a pyro class in but the amount of entity % that it came too was just way too much. This version of the map is currently 99.8% or so in ent data.

    Also we couldnt think of anything decent for the soldier class.
