Double Helix Map Background

Two rotating double helices map background.

Just a simple map background with two rotating double helices. There's a calming soundscape with birds and other ambient noises and a subtle screen overlay to darken the edges a bit.

All resolutions should be supported as it's a map, not an image or video. The loading image may be stretched for 16:10 resolutions but the main background will be fine.

Installation Simply extract the contents of the .zip into your cstrike folder. If you already have an autoexec.cfg then I suggest skipping the one in the download and adding "map_background Helices" into your existing one.

There are minor misalignments due to Hammer "fixing" things but they aren't very noticeable.

    It's pretty nice just at first glance. It has a calming effect although the one thing that bugs me is that it looks like it's bent. XD But that's just me.
